My name is Marc de Ley. I am privileged to be appointed the foundation principal of Topirum Primary School. I have been an educator in government primary schools for over twenty years and this is my second role as a school principal. I am excited about providing an outstanding educational experience for our students in a caring and inclusive environment. My name is Madi Sheather, and I have been an assistant principal for several years. My passion area is curriculum provision. As a graduate teacher I had the privilege of starting a new school, and now I couldn’t be more excited to support the development of a new school for the Clyde North community. My favourite quote is by Ron Ritchhart, “Teaching is not telling. Learning happens when students engage with ideas, when they ask questions, explore and construct meaning with our guidance and support.”

My name is Kate O’Rourke and I am the business manager here at Topirum Primary. I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking lots of treats! One of my favourite children’s books is “I love you through and through” by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak. My name is Meagan Donaldson. Throughout my journey as an educator, I've had the privilege of teaching many different year levels and held a diverse range of leadership roles. My name is Dominique Crasto, and I am very excited to be a classroom teacher at Topirum Primary School. Just like the school, 2024 will be my first year teaching after completing a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Inclusive Education (Honours) at Monash University. I have previously worked as a learning support officer at various secondary schools assisting students with disabilities and diverse educational needs. Hello! My name is Jess but students know me as Ms Ackroyd! Since I was little, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and count myself lucky every day to call this my job. I have been teaching foundation/prep for the last few years, and feel very passionate about creating opportunities for all students to succeed. I am very excited to get to know the Topirum Primary School community and cannot wait to be a part of the growth and success of the school.

I began my career in education working in a kindergarten and childcare centre, then moved to become an integration aide within a primary school.
